How much money can I spend in a day?
Alright, I could've spent more. But it was still a lot.

My hair is nice and short and very bright red, wheeeeeeee! Nails are square-ish and pink and sparkly! I bought an immersion blender - will need that soonlike. I also wanted to buy Love Angel Music Baby by Gwen Stefani because I saw her last night on David Letterman (repeat) and decided that since I love 2 of the songs I should get it. But the lame store was out of the CD. >:0!!! I may have to go to Tower Records tomorrow.

However, I nearly screamed in the SuperTarget because THEY HAD MY TEA!!! You may not be aware of this, but I LIVE on iced tea (no sweetener of any kind, please). Specifically, iced tea made with Celestial Seasonings teas, and my fave is Red Zinger. I have literally been unable to find this tea in ANY store in the Chicago area since I moved back here nearly 3 years ago. I even went to the CS website where they have a thing that will tell you which stores in your area have a particular tea and IT LIED. LIED LIKE A DOG. So anyway, there are plenty of other CS flavors that make excellent iced tea and I needed a few boxes, so I went to the tea and coffee aisle. And there was RED ZINGER!!! I bought every box they had. :)) It was only 3, but still. Had there been 6 I would've bought all of them. *drinks Red Zinger iced tea* Ahhh, bliss.

I also went shopping at Sephora.com. I believe I may be obsessed with Philosophy bath and shower gels as I've just bought my third one. But they smell sooooooo gooooooood!! I just wish the fragrances lingered more - they make them specifically so that they don't, and I wish they would.

Well, I've lived in one of these cities already, my mother lives in one, and I've visited the rest. Interesting.

Whoo, another red dye person! I did mine tonight. It's way redder than I normally go. *g*

Hey, I'll keep an eye out for that tea for you.

As my colorist said today, I am meant to be a redhead. My mom is, actually, but my natural color is not nearly red enough to suit me. :))

Awww, thanks! I think I'm set for the time being, but if you see it, let me know!

My natural color is this godawful dark blonde that looks almost gray in some lights. So I hate it. I tried red in high school and got so many compliments on it that I've basically done variations on that for the last six years. My first college roommate didn't know I wasn't actually a redhead until I as doing my hair one night when she came home. *g*

cute, in a dumb guy with a dream kinda way.skyfading on April 24th, 2005 07:05 am (UTC)
I've seen that stuff at my Walgreens :)) But then I am in Virginia. Call the one near you and ask? We have people call all the time wanting to know if we carry random product X and we always go look.

The city that you already lived in? I think you should live there again.

Just saying. :D :D :D

Really? I'll have to keep an eye out for you, though I don't go to Target much anymore because of that stupid return policy they started up.

Oh no... I mean I've looked EVERYWHERE. Jewel, Dominick's, Walmart, Walgreens... you name it. I've been to various Jewels and Dominickses (lol) and none of them had it, even if the CS website said they should. It just happened that SuperTarget had it - I rarely go there but I was down in Lisle getting my hair done, so I went to the ST in Warrenville on my way back home to do the grocery shopping because I wanted that CD that they didn't have. lol So much for one stop shopping, but I got a good surprise with the tea!

I love Red Zinger! But I drink it hot, and with a bit of lemon. Mmmmm.

You said ‘I just wish the fragrances lingered more - they make them specifically so that they don't, and I wish they would.’ You will want to find a company called MOR, their shower gel’s and body scubs leave you smelling like the product after the shower. Their by no means cheap, here in Australia it’s sold at Myers. It's one of the products I make at my work, I'm personally addicted to their range of products.

Some of the different lines they have are,
Marshmallow (everyone goes nut’s for that one)
Fig and Olive (That one is ok…but its defiantly not my cup of tea)
Almond Husk (I only like the massage oil in that flavor)

There are more I know but stuffed if I can remember at this moment in time. At work we get to take home the stuff we make, all rejected stuff…bottle’s that have scratches on them and so forth. But like I said If you can find that company then you will be a very happy customer….omg I just realized that I sound like I’m trying to sell the stuff ..arrgghhh! Next I’ll be walking around with a can of Pepsi, drinking it and telling everyone how ‘refreshed I am’ *shudders*

Righhhhtttt...I'm just going to go bang my head on something solid.

P.S. I found their web site...http://www.mor.com.au/
