This really should be a joke, but it isn't.

So I'm driving to work today and I'm almost there when I stop at a stoplight and I hear a horn beep. I look over and there's a guy in an SUV saying "Excuse me" to me. So immediately I think there's something wrong with my tire, or maybe he needs directions. I roll down my window and say "Yes?" and he says "I hope this isn't wrong of me, but I was wondering if I could ask you out on a date." *flabbergasted* Somehow I managed to say "I'm flattered, but no," and he tried a bit more to convince me, but I told him "Thank you, I'm very flattered, but I'm not interested." Because really, I couldn't very well say that the thought of dating anyone right now makes me nauseous, could I?

Maybe someday this will be funny.

Yet another entry in the "Wow, that's just not funny" category.

My company announced today that they're giving us extra holiday time. Everyone else thought this was a great and wonderful thing.

Me? I was very -.- because really, what am I going to do with it? I have never cared so little about having paid time off as I do right now.

And I really think the world should hold off on any more of this sort of nonsense until I'm a bit more ready for it.
