So you think you like winter...
Today it was -3F/-19C and the low was -7F/-21C. I won't even bother to tell you how much colder it actually felt due to the even colder wind chill. If you think that being outside for even a minute when it's literally painful is fun - please, continue to go on about how wonderful snow and cold are.

And then come here and let me kick you for a while.
I feel: coldcold

I knew there had to be someone agreeing with me.

WORD. Snow and cold aren't fun when it physically hurts to breathe and it feels like your fingers will fall off!

Turn off your heat and open the windows, t00b. The temperature there is perfect today. :P

Yes, its pretty to look at if you're able to stay inside by a big fire with some cocoa or froo froo coffee drink...BUT to actually go out into is hateful. *sends warmth your way*
Do you have an REI there? they have these earmuffs that are amazing.

Well . . .

I was just up in Maine, and it was -15ºF, and no, it wasn't fun to be outside, but I remembered that up there, you don't spend much time being outdoors because you are going from your house to your car. (Unlike here, where I'm walking all over the good goddamn. Not nearly as cold, but still.) And while everyone feels trapped inside, at least we all can agree on that. And at least when it's cold you can put on a coat and scarves and gloves and mittens and things.

But in the summer? I feel ill when it is above 80º, and when it is above 90º I do not like to go outside at all because I will pass out or get sick. And there is nothing I can do, except attempt to walk in the shade. The air conditioning (which I have to pay for, unlike my heat) makes me feel trapped inside, and friends are like, no, it's a beautiful day! And I'm like, ugh.

So I like snow and cold; it is how I grew up. Despite the presence of our birthdays, I'll take-10º plus a windchill in January over 100º with the humidity in August any day.

*waits for the kick*

What would actually make me happy is a nice, moderate temperature year round. It's the extremes I can't deal with - too cold, too hot, snow and ice, humidity. I have to pay whether it's AC or heat (let's not talk about my gas bill for last month), so that really doesn't matter. This is the main reason spring and fall are my favorite seasons - pleasant temperatures with the occasional breeze and a bit of rain make me happy. So I do understand what you're saying to an extent, because hell, you can always put on more clothing, but you get to a point where you can't remove anymore!
