First of all, I got a Spot Award for Customer Service Excellence! A client emailed my boss and basically RAVED about how awesome I am. Here is a little bit of the email:
Vicki has always been professional, friendly, and capable of handling any question I pose to her. There have been many an occasion where Vicki has stayed late to confirm that our work was complete and that her answers were accurate or stayed with me for an hour until a project was complete. ... Whenever I call the Helpline and Vicki answers, I breathe a sigh of relief and smile because I am certain she will make everything work out.
And that's only PART of it! How cool is that?! So it was sent on to others and I was then nominated for the award, which means I get my choice of a coffee mug, keychain, mousepad, water bottle or lunch bag, AND $25!!! I was like, :-O!!! I didn't know I'd GET STUFF! And cash! I need cash!!! (allright, who doesn't, but moving...$$$)
The other good thing was that I called to try and set up our electric service for the new apartment, and they told me they couldn't do it because they still had the old tenant on the account. So I had to call the apartment complex so THEY could call and say yes, those people MOVED OUT YOU MORONS. So they called for me and got it set up, and I didn't have to pay the $150 deposit now! Apparently you pay it with your first bill! YES! Sure, still have to pay it, but at least not now when I have all the other expenses to take care of. *relieved*
