Why do only the cold and lonely times seem to last?
Today was basically an exercise in indulgence. I went to the salon and had a pedicure, manicure, hair coloring and cut, which took 5 hours. It was really quite nice. The salon does different types of manicures and pedicures monthly - when I got my first pedicure in February, I think it was, I got the Hot Chocolate pedicure, which in addition to the chocolate-scented mask they put on your feet, meant you got hot chocolate to drink. This month's flavor is Margarita, so I got that for my manicure. Salt and lime scrub, citrus lotion, and yes - a real margarita to drink while I had the color put on my hair. It was very nice to be pampered, and the color looks wonderful and I'm very happy to have my hair cut again - it was getting too heavy. The length is about the same, but she put in more layers. I'm going to try to take some pics tomorrow.

After that, I went over to the mall because I needed to get my perfume, and they were having bonus days, which is the only time to go and buy makeup or perfume. People kept looking at me strangely at the mall, so I really began to wonder if there was something wrong with me. Next I headed to the grocery store, and a woman stopped and told me how much she loved my haircolor, so whatever people were staring at me for, it wasn't that. I dunno.

Finally got home and called my boyfriend, finalizing plans for next week. Due to stupid train strikes in the UK, we are not going up to Scotland now. :( Hopefully things will work out much better for actual t00bage in June - especially considering it couldn't possibly get worse. -.-

Now, I have burned CDs and will start packing. Tomorrow, I will tidy up, do laundry, and run a couple more errands. But no, really, I'm not counting the hours 'til I leave on Wednesday...

You deserve a day of pampering every now and then - enjoy the feeling. I wish you a simply fabulous fun break and a safe trip.
