A banner day.
So tonight my sister calls my dad and tells him that as she and the family were driving back from the in-laws in downstate Illinois, her husband hit a patch of black ice and flipped their minivan - twice. Everyone's okay, thankfully - they even took my sister by ambulance to the nearest hospital and checked the baby. All is fine. My middle niece, A, even slept through the entire thing!! The minivan's totaled, so I guess the in-laws drove them back to Wisconsin, where they went immediately to buy a new vehicle. When they were leaving the dealership to go home, my sister hit a deer. Luckily it must've been a glancing blow - the only damage to the car was one of the headlights being pushed in a bit. The deer of course ran off into the woods, completely unscathed. Okay, I REALLY think they need to stay out of cars altogether for a bit. o_O

And now, questions from stormwynd!

1. How did you get involved in the Drake Bell fandom?

That's actually related to question #2. LOL Someone in my RPG decided to use Drake as a PB (Played By, for those who don't RP). Because you end up searching for so many pics to get various facial expressions for a character, the person ended up finding out a lot about Drake, which they then told me. So I really got more interested in him because of his music than his acting - that was what drew me in. From there, it was really just... oddness, I guess. Me and my big mouth. I never intended to get into the fandom, let alone start working for Drake. It's been a very bizarre 9 months.

2. You've done a fair amount of online RPGing in your time. Of all the games you've participated in, which one are/were you proudest of, and why?

This is really difficult to answer because there are three in particular that are very memorable to me, but the one I'm proudest of is _dark_chaos. We've been going for over 2 years now, and despite all sorts of changes, personality struggles, players coming and going, we've managed to make it work and keep it fun and interesting. I'm not the greatest when it comes to plot - I'm much more a character-development sort of person - but I've managed here and there to come up with some pretty decent plot ideas. It's lame, but because it isn't a strength of mine, I'm always stupidly proud when I come up with plot. I currently play 5 characters at DC.
We're always looking for good players, so if anyone has any interest in playing in a cool game, let me know.

3. What's your dream vacation?

Hmm... it's a toss-up between going back to England and finally getting to see everything that I couldn't see on any of my trips due to my lack of mobility, or going somewhere tropical and just being a lazy bum. The thing is, I'm really not that good at relaxing and being a lazy bum, so I think that would either never happen - or it'd have to be a really short vacation. LOL

4. You and I get to spend a weekend together. What do we do?

Wow, hmm. I know it sounds silly, but I really DO want to hitch a ride in your suitcase and go to Walt Disney World with you! I love the Disney parks and I think we'd have a blast - if you could deal with the fact that I do act like a kid and laugh and squee a lot. I think we'd have fun because we'd have tons to talk about, and I think we'd enjoy having some good meals together, and then, of course, it's always nice to have a friend to discuss eye candy with. :D

5. Name something that you hope will happen in Deathly Hallows but most likely won't.

I hope Harry lives, but I really don't think he will. That one was easy.

I feel: blahblah

Me neither. I've never been able to sit still and just hang out on a vacation -- I need stuff to do! Which is why WDW is a great choice for me. And speaking of which...

I really DO want to hitch a ride in your suitcase and go to Walt Disney World with you!

That would be a blast! Maybe one of these years -- or if you wind up in LA, perhaps we can do Disneyland together some weekend...

Thank goodness everyone is ok!

I read an interview where Dan wants Harry to die at the end. :(

Wow, I can't believe your niece stayed asleep through that! Children are incredible. I'm glad everyone's okay.
