Oh, bored.
So, all of our servers and our phone software, etc... are all in Ann Arbor, Michigan - which is very near Detroit. So since the whole power thing yesterday afternoon, our servers have been on the backup generators. Our site has been up but all of our web-based products have been intermittent and slow as molasses. And THEN we find out that our phones have gone down, because the toll-free number we have for clients to call on is through Ann Arbor, and apparently the phone company there has shut down all the lines in the area. So... it's been an exciting day, if you consider sitting around waiting for updates on the phone situation exciting. With my luck, they'll get them fixed in a few minutes, when I'm the only one here. -.-

Still haven't heard about the apartment. I called today and apparently they're still waiting on a fax from the complex my brother used to live in. -.-

My parents are leaving for Miami on Tuesday, and today is my mom's last day at her old job. So the next 3 days will spent doing frantic packing, and I will no doubt be roped into helping. It's kind of sad, but I'm looking forward to them being gone, but for the same reasons I'm looking forward to moving - I will get more space to myself. I'll actually be ALONE in the house sometimes, since my brother is still on the later shift. So I think I may actually cook and watch TV and run around naked. Allright - perhaps not that last one. I don't think my dad has decided when he'll be coming back from Miami yet.

Really, I have nothing of interest to say. I'm just bored.

Friday Five

1. How much time do you spend online each day?

Hrrrrm. With the multitasking - 9 at work, then another 4-7 at home on weekdays, and about the same amount - 12-16 hours total - on weekends. That will probably lessen after the move.

2. What is your browser homepage set to?

LiveJournal

3. Do you use any instant messaging programs? If so, which one(s)?

I still have AIM, Trillian, and ICQ, but I only ever use Yahoo Messenger anymore.

4. Where was your first web page?

www.byz.org/~morrigan

5. How long have you had your current web site?

Since 1998, same place.
